So, I'm officially three months along, and loving the wonder that is my body. Okay not so much. I understand there are certain adjustments to be made when a baby comes... but six months in advance?! This certain adjustment happens to be sleep, or the lack thereof. I was never a boy scout, so I don't understand the whole "Be Prepared" thing, but I feel that it was not in reference to pregnant mothers being prepared to not get sleep six months before the baby comes. Then again, as I said before, I never was a boy scout...so who knows!
We finally got a new mattress...which we thought may help remedy the problem (our last one was big enough for one person...but we managed to squeeze two onto it...we could only handle so many elbows to the eyes before we decided to do something about it)...but last night, was another sleepless night, and Andy found me in the comforts of the old, teeny bed this morning when he got up. Apparently we didn't need a bigger bed...we just needed a separate bed :) I was informed however, that will not be happening again. He really does love me!

Steph I love it! I think the sleepless nights should get a little better...at least for awhile. Keep on posting!
Well done, Stephy! I am so proud of you for following suit and updating your blog! I imagined you curled up so comfy on the little bed and then Andy coming in to find you there... you with a smile in your sleep and him with a glare. Hahaha. No more of that Ms. Schmidt!! :) How are you feeling otherwise? Sorry about the no sleep! That is SOOO crappy! I had post tramautic stress syndrome pretty bad for a few months and didn´t sleep a wink!! But they played lots of reruns of Fresh Prince all night, so I was happy. LOVE YOU!
Hey...why am I not on your blog list? Just a girl you used to work with once - what was her name? Out of sight, out of mind, I get it.
Kidding :)
Sorry about your sleepless nights! I would say "I understand" but I don't. I can't say that until you actually have the little kumquat, at which point it doesn't really get better sleep-wise until the 2nd or 3rd month. ;)
Keep posting! Blogs are the only way us shut-ins can keep up with people.
